This finishing salt is the perfect texture to add a pop of flavor on whatever you are cooking. It's smoked over local apple wood for 3 days to give it a soft, sweet smoky flavor that still allows the unique characteristics of the salt to come through.

This salt is naturally sourced from an ancient, untouched sea called the Iapetus Ocean (predating the Atlantic) trapped below the Appalachian mountains. This salt is free of contaminants and heavy metals. Gleaned from the earth by an underground brine aquifer, the salt is then processed naturally using the power of the sun and gentle mountain breezes.  The result is a beautiful crystal that enhances the flavor of any dish.
